It is now December and I have some important items to tell you about regarding our schools.  

First, each of our schools' choirs and bands have been practicing for their winter concerts.  Each group has put in many hours and is looking forward to showing their talents.  The schedule of the concerts is located on the school website so please make some time to attend the performances.  Additionally, some schools will be streaming the performances on the website.  We are very proud of each student's talent.  A special shout out to the North Bergen High School advanced choir who were finalists to be performing at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting. And each of our choirs were fantastic at Winterfest.

Second, we are now in the season where there may be closures, delayed openings, or early dismissals for inclement weather.  Generally, we like to alert you the night before so you the parents can arrange coverage for your child.  We will send an automated call, text, and email with the details of the event.  Also, we will post the information on our website.  Please make sure your information is up to date in Realtime.  If you need assistance, please call the office personnel of your child’s school to get help.  

Third, our winter sports teams of Basketball, Wrestling, Swimming, Bowling and Track are starting their seasons this month.  Please make some time to support our student-athletes.  The schedule of competitions is on the High School Website.

Finally, As the year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support and dedication to our school community. It has been a privilege to work alongside such a talented and committed group of individuals.  I hope this holiday season brings you joy, peace, and happiness.
