I have some important news for you concerning parent information sessions that we will be having for new exciting Career programs for High School Students, and the New Junior High School.
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Career Technical Education (CTE) Parent Meetings at North Bergen High School. These informative sessions will provide valuable insights into our specialized programs and the pathways they offer for your child's future. Join us in the high school cafeteria at 6:30 PM on the following dates: Accounting on Tuesday, March 25th, Culinary Arts on Wednesday, March 26th, and Graphic Design on Thursday, March 27th. Each meeting will focus on the specific curriculum, hands-on experiences, and industry connections within that particular field.
During these meetings, you and your student will have the opportunity to learn about the comprehensive educational programs, including the potential for industry certifications and the acquisition of college credits toward an associate's degree. We will also highlight the diverse career opportunities available upon graduation, showcasing the real-world impact of these skills. Our dedicated staff members, who will be teaching these programs, will be present to answer your questions and provide detailed information. This is a fantastic chance to gain a deeper understanding of the possibilities that CTE offers and how it can prepare students for successful and fulfilling careers.
We strongly encourage you to attend these meetings to explore the potential of our CTE programs and to actively participate in shaping your student's career path. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how our programs are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today's competitive job market. We look forward to seeing you there and helping you navigate the exciting opportunities within Culinary Arts, Accounting, and Graphic Design.
Also, the North Bergen School District is excited to announce a series of parent meetings in early April regarding the upcoming transition to our new Junior High School. This significant change will see our six elementary schools shift from a grades 1-8 structure to a kindergarten-grade 6 model, with grades 7 and 8 moving to the newly established Junior High. We understand that this transition brings questions, and we are committed to providing you with comprehensive information and support. To ensure accessibility for all families, meetings will be held at each of our six elementary schools, starting at 6:30 PM. Please visit the North Bergen School District website for the complete schedule of meeting dates and locations. Importantly, parents are welcome to attend any meeting, regardless of which elementary school their child currently attends.
These meetings will provide a platform to discuss crucial aspects of the transition, including transportation logistics, student schedules, the state-of-the-art facilities at the new Junior High, the enhanced curriculum, and the expanded educational opportunities your children will have. We aim to address any concerns and provide clarity on how this change will positively impact your child's academic journey. Our dedicated school personnel will be present to answer your questions and provide detailed information.
We strongly encourage all parents to attend one of these informative meetings. This is a vital opportunity to gain insight into the exciting developments within our district and to actively participate in your child's educational future. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to ensure a smooth and successful transition for all our students.
