North Bergen Preschool Curriculum

Connect 4 Learning 

The North Bergen Preschool follows Connect 4 Learning (C4L) as its curriculum. C4L is a NJDOE state-approved comprehensive preschool program that is aligned to the NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards. This is a research based, interdisciplinary curriculum with foundations in literacy, mathematics, science, and social-emotional learning. The curriculum is designed to support children’s cognitive development with lessons and activities that are developmentally appropriate and effective. C4L includes project-based learning and high interest learning centers that support and extend children’s growing understandings in social-emotional skills, science, literacy and mathematics. The overall goals are to teach the big ideas and key knowledge and skills in these areas and to stimulate future learning in these domains.
